Founded in 1949, the college of animal science and technology was upgraded to a bachelor's degree in 1987. In 2000, it successfully passed the qualified evaluation and acceptance of undergraduate courses organized by the ministry of education. The college now has the department of animal science and the department of animal medicine, including animal science, animal medicine, animal inspection and quarantine, and animal medicine.
